How to get to Zadar

Zadar is less than 2 hours car ride from two beautiful National Parks, Plitvice Lakes and Krka Waterfalls, and it’s about 90 minute ride from the popular party beach Zrce in Novalja. It’s only 160km away from Split and 130km away from Split Airport, so landing in Split is a good opportunity to visit both Zadar and Split in a short amount of time. If you are flying in to Zadar then you should know that Zadar Airport is located 8km outside the town and it’s the best place to land if you want to get to Zadar quickly. From there you can take a shuttle bus that will take you to the Zadar Old Town, and vice versa (there are no local bus lines between Zadar Airport and Zadar).
