For the first time in 17 years of the festival, Seasplash Festival, Croatia’s longest running festival, is taking a trip down to the south, to beautiful Dalmatia, more precisely to Martinska pier and beach. Situated directly across the sea from the historic City of Šibenik, on the unique Srim Peninsula and at the entrance of the Port of Šibenik, Martinska will open a new chapter in the festival’s history – it is announced on the official website of Seasplash Festival .
After successful 16 years Seasplash Festival is moving from Istria to new location – Martinska Beach. Martinska Beach is a historic beach overlooking the city of Šibenik. It was abandoned for years before in 2016. city authorities decided to restore it, on delight of citizens of Šibenik.
You don’t have to worry about your free time – there will be plenty of extra things to do with workshops, chill out zones, boat parties, cultural and sports activities planed for you to enjoy! Free camping is included in the ticket price, but with limited availability.
From 18th until 21st July Seasplash will be the perfect place to enjoy reggae, dub, drum and bass, jungle, ska and punk, under the sunny sky and surrounded by the beautiful Adriatic sea.

The Seasplash festival will be held from 18. to 21. July and first three headliners will be the three unstoppable kings of dub and reggae: Lee “Scratch” Perry, Scientist and Mad Professor.
Lee “Scratch” Perry
“Scratch” is a famous Jamaican music producer and inventor noted for his innovative studio techniques and production style. Lee Perry was an early pioneer of reggae music and its offshoot, dub music, and recorded a young Bob Marley and the Wailers.

Scientist
Hopeton Overton Brown (born 18 April 1960) is a recording engineer and producer who rose to fame in the 1980s mixing dub music as “Scientist”. Scientist was one of the most distinctive figures on the Jamaican music scene, known for his spacious production and mixing techniques as well as his wild album titles and cover artwork.
Mad Professor
Neil Joseph Stephen Fraser became known as Mad Professor as a boy due to his fascination with electronics. British national dub music producer and engineer known for his original productions and remix work. He is considered one of the leading producers of dub music’s second generation.

If you miss out on a free camping spot the next best thing is to find an accommodation in Šibenik. There are lots of rooms, apartments and hotels liested on Airbnb or Booking.com, but make sure to book on time. From Šibenik you can easily get to Festival with bus, boat or taxi service.

Šibenik is well connected with the rest of Croatia so you can easily get to Seasplash festival with a bus or a car from any part of Croatia. Although Šibenik does not have it’s own airport there are two airports located nearby – Split Airport (45km to the south) and Zadar Airport (50km north).
